Posted by Town Hall Staff 04 January 2016

Suffolk Highways will be carrying out footway reconstruction works along Ranelagh Road, Felixstowe between Montague Road and Brownlow Road.  The works are currently programmed to commence on 11th January 2016 and will continue for 5 days.  The date of the works may change as a result of delays caused by weather.  If a delay does occur signs on site will indicate the start date.  The road will be closed to through traffic each day.  Access to properties and businesses within the site will be available, subject to ongoing operations.  This will be controlled by staff on site and if access is required please approach a member of staff who will provide access as soon as it is safe to do so.  Access for emergency services will be maintained at all times.  During the period of the closure, the diversion will be via Montague Road, Chevalier Road, Brownlow Road, Ranelagh Road and vice versa.  These temporary traffic management measures are required to allow the works to be carried out safely and in accordance with current Health and Safety guidelines.  Inconvenience and disruption will be kept to a minimum during these works.  If you should wish to discuss any details of the scheme further, please contact Suffolk Highways, general enquiries Tel: 0345 606 6171, Email: enquiries@suffolkhighways.co.uk
