Suffolk Coastal will be offering free use of its car parks to support Christmas events in the district.
Cllr Carol Poulter, Cabinet Member with responsibility for car parks, said: “I’m pleased that we are continuing to support our local towns by offering free use of our car parks in the run up to Christmas.
“We are very fortunate to live in an area which boasts very unique shopping opportunities and Christmas is an extra special time for our towns to promote the small and independent businesses on our doorsteps.
“I hope the boost of free parking will make these shopping days even more attractive to residents and visitors to the district.”
In Felixstowe, free car parking will be available all day on Saturday 28 November for the traditional Christmas craft market and Christmas lights switch on. Crescent Road, Highfield Road and Ranelagh Road car parks will be free to use from 8am to 6pm.
