Covid 19 Emergency Measures
We are in regular contact with the Felixstowe Society of Allotment and Leisure Gardeners (FSALG) throughout this time to review Government guidance and advice from The National Allotment Society.
Currently our allotments remain open. FSALG has put up notices at all sites giving coronavirus-related advice. We have also ‘pinned’ open the gates for hands-free access and ensured that fresh water is available for handwashing.
The Town Council manages five allotment sites in Felixstowe:
|Cowpasture, Candlet Road, IP11 9AZ||306 plots|
|Ferry Road, IP11 9TP||94 plots|

|Cemetery Field, Langley Avenue, IP11 2ND||N/A|

The locations of the sites are shown on our map page.

Help & Support
For lots of information on allotments read the Plotholder’s Guide.
The Town Council recommends that all our allotment tenants consider joining the Felixstowe Society of Allotments and Leisure Gardeners (FSALG). Membership of which provides the following benefits:
Plot holders are personally liable for injuries to third parties, including trespassers. Membership of the society provides appropriate cover.
Orders through the Treasurer in the autumn give members a 40% discount. This National Society of Allotment and Leisure Gardeners (NSALG) scheme also gives 10% to the society which supports their winter meetings.
The society represents member and plot holder interests to Felixstowe Town Council and via NSALG.
